Dear Friends,
Remember those little gazelles from a couple of weeks ago, hopping from rock to rock to cross the stream...and me, doubling back behind them to cross? It’s not always that way, right? Doubling back and then finding your way across the stream isn’t always a possibility. Sometimes you try to cross that stream, and you just get stuck in the middle, with no way forward and no way back. Maybe you hopped to a rock, realized that you weren’t going to be able to go that way, but the angle of the rock behind you is wrong and just isn’t going to let you get back on it. I was talking to a friend the other day about this situation in my life right now where I just feel stuck. I really believe I’m doing all the right things and making all the right choices by it, and I feel really good in the choices I’m making...I feel like they’re all correct, they’re the right choices...and I still feel stuck. I think that’s part of this life sometimes, right? We’re not always going to have a clear path across that creek, and sometimes we’re just going to be stuck where we are at this moment. Our life might feel uncomfortable, the spot we’re stuck in might make us feel anxious. We might not know how we’re going to get to the other side or what that other side is going to look like. The place where we’re at might not feel good all the time. Perhaps in that place of stuck we can find a little more breath, a little more peace knowing that we’re making the best decisions we can, and we’re not alone in that feeling, we’re not alone when we’re in a place where we feel stuck. If there’s a spot where you’re feeling stuck this week dear friend, I hope you can find a little more breath, a little more peace, and a little more knowledge that you are not alone in it. I hope you have an amazing week dear friend. Love Krista
