Yoga
Oh, It brings me such joy to teach yoga.
Our yoga classes are built for every-body. I want my classes to feel inclusive and welcoming, whether it's your first time in yoga or you come every week. I keep a close eye on all my students to make sure they're safe, and I always cue to what's going on in your body during our practice and tweek my class plans based on who is in my class that particular day.
I emphasize alignment and staying safe in your body in all practices, and building not only flexibility, but strength and stability in all our postures. Our yoga class is based in Hatha yoga, and you won't find any chaturangas in our yoga practice, but I do teach a pretty flowy hatha practice, and we always connect our movement with our breath.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga uses gentle and long-held poses to target the body's connective tissue (tendons, ligaments, and fascia). It gently and safely enhances the pliancy of our joints within our natural range of motion, and can help liberate the body's chronic holding patterns. With its slow and meditative pacing, a Yin practice naturally draws the mind inward into a relaxed and reflective state, where awareness can be brought to postural, breath and thought patterns. This class is suitable for novice practitioners and weekend warriors alike. You'll walk out of each session feeling like you've just enjoyed a deep tissue massage!

Strength+Balance
Strength+Balance is a dynamic, full-body workout that will leave you feeling energetic and strong. In this fast paced and fun class, we combine strength building exercises with balance, core work, flexibility--all while ensuring that we are keeping our bodies safe with the correct form throughout the class. We work hard, we sweat, we have a great time, and we always end with a little bit of much-deserved relaxation. We use a variety of props including hand weights or something heavy (use your imagination!), and we use a lot of our own body weight to provide resistance too! Strength+Balance stays with a similar construction while also changing week to week to keep our bodies guessing and our stamina growing.

Flow Yoga
In this Vinyasa style class, you will flow from pose to pose connecting your movement to your breath. This is a dynamic style of yoga that maintains a playful, dance-like quality. The sequence of postures may be different from class to class, but they always follow from basic to more complex so that you can build heat, flexibility and strength while maintaining good alignment and a safe foundation. Modifications and advanced variations are given by the teacher, making the class accessible to all levels.
