Dear Friends,
Every so often it’s important to just go it alone. I talk a lot about connection and community here, and I think both of those parts of life are so very important. But once in a while, or for some more often than once in a while, it’s important to go it alone. Last weekend when I went in search of snow, I went alone. Yes, I could have found others to go with me, but it just felt right to spend some time by myself, to make the long drive with only my thoughts, and to spend time in the world around me with no other distractions. It felt good to adventure by myself. There are times and spaces in life where we need the support of those around us, where we need to be lifted up by our people, where we need to find our community. And there are other times in life when we need to get to where we’re going alone, where we need to walk by ourselves, where we need to find peace and contentment in our own wonderful company. My dear friends, whether you are walking with others this week, or you need to go it alone, I hope you can see what wonderful company you are. I hope you have a beautiful week, my friends. Love Krista
